Muhammad Younus

Mr. Muhammad Yonus is associated with us since 1991. During the starting period he was actively participating in activities of the organization but now he is engaged as non executive director because of his full time association with OPP-URC. He completed his graduation in Architecture from Dawood Engineering College of Karachi. Soon after his graduation he joined OPP as Program Coordinator Research and Training.

 He only served the Urban Research Centre and was associated with OPRCT as non-executive director for the past many years. He is also a governing body member of Research and Training Institute (RTI), and Urban Research Centre (URC). He has vast experience of rehabilitation and infrastructure development. He has been engaged in directing and managing various issues of Urban Transport, Lyari Expressway, solid management, forced eviction from houses and water and sanitation. He has been the team lead of Housing Rehabilitation and Infrastructure Development Program for earthquake affected areas in Balochistan. In addition to above he has also served as committee member of “Eviction and Housing Rights Watch Program ” run by a regional NGO Asian Coalition and Housing Right (ACHR), Bangkok, having membership of over 12 Asian countries.
